Update on Conservation Easement area.

Update March 11, 2019 –   The “No Trespassing” signs are ready to be installed and the cameras are ordered and will be installed immediately upon receipt.

Chuck Braun came across a dirt bike motorcycle and a wheelbarrow on our property.   When Chuck was on site with a Wall Township Police Officer, the officer inquired in the homes that abut the area as to who owned the items.  As no one indicated ownership, the items were removed and sent to Wall Township recycling center.

At the January General Meeting, and in the Voice information was made available on this tract in the area of Deer Meadow.   Your Board of Trustees also with Chuck Braun of our Management Office are working with Wall Township Police to assure there is no further intrusion into this area.

A letter has been sent to all FSW homeowners in the area adjacent to and with visibility to this tract asking for their cooperation.  Homeowners are asked to not go onto this area or approach people should they see activity in the area, but rather to call the HOA office or gatehouse staff who will notify Wall Township Police.   Involvement by our homeowners actually undermines the efforts to determine those persons who have altered this protected area.

No Trespassing signs are being obtained and will be posted.

Work on the property adjacent to our back gate.

You may have noticed or heard work being done on Sunday, December 9, 2018. Your Board of Trustees has been in contact with Jeffrey Bertrand of Wall Township about this, and Mr. Bertrand advised that working on Sunday is not permitted.   His advice is to contact Wall Township Police should the problem recur.

On Tuesday, December 11, 2018, exit from our back gate was completely blocked while utility work was being done.   Wall Township Police were contacted and upon their arrival they cleared the way, having the contractor place cones to clear a route for us from and into our community.

The contractor representative has notified Chuck Braun that paving work will be done within the upcoming weeks.   Once your  Board has the information a call will be made to all residents to provide information on what work is to be done and how long the work will take.

Listen Up Golfers

On Thursday October 4th the Golf Club had a get together at the Clubhouse where a number of the newer residents to the community attended. We discussed at the meeting how we would like to see an increase in golf activities in the community, events that we have had in the past. In 2019 we expect to have our Annual Golf Outing, a Nine and Dine, Day at the Track and reinstate the Annual Dinner.

As part of the meeting that night Bill Lawless talked about residents being part of the Golf Group that plays on Monday and Thursday during the Golf Season which will start in Early to Mid April 2019, weather permitting. If you have any interest in joining the Golf group please get on the list by contacting Bill ([email protected]). It was discussed at the meeting that we would welcome all members of the community to join.

Through the efforts of Craig Sands we were able to raffle a group lesson for 10 people at Metedeconk Golf Club. Ten of us went over to Metedeconk for a lesson with Brent Studer who is the Head Pro at Metedeconk and the 2018 New Jersey Senior PGA Champion. Brent gave all of us insight how to chip from 20 yards from the green and also the mechanics on how to get out of a sand trap. Please see the picture in this month’s Voice.

Congratulations go out to Ed Morris who recently got a Hole-In-One at Howell Golf Course on the fourth hole. Playing with Ed was Ray Kaden, Al Kirchheim and Ray Ugoloti.

The Men’s Golf Christmas Lunch is scheduled for Wednesday December 5, 2018 at Simko’s Grill. Simko’s has moved from their location in Brielle to 1311 Route 35 in Neptune City. If you have any interest check out flyer in this month’s Voice.
